If you can, try to go on a weekday instead of weekend. It's way less crowded and you can enjoy the stunning views and activities better. I had a blast because it wasn't rushed!

Wear old sneakers or hiking shoes if you have them! The trails can be super dusty and rocky. I wore my favorite pair and they’re now a muddied memory. Haha!

Don’t forget to pack sunscreen and a hat. I got sunburned way too fast up there since the reflection off the volcano is real. Trust me, you don’t wanna deal with that.

I recommend bringing cash. Some vendors only accept cash, and you don’t wanna miss out on those tasty snacks up there. I was a bit unprepared and regretted it later
