My advice is to try the local food, especially at smaller eateries. I made the mistake of sticking to tourist spots and missed out on some amazing dishes!
For first-timers I'd recommend going for the beginner rider session at 1 PM. The instructors are super patient and you get more attention during that slot.

My advice is to wear layers. The weather can be unpredictable in Oslo, and you'll want to be comfortable whether you're riding or just hanging around the farm.
Try to visit on a weekday around 10 AM when it's less crowded. I went on the weekend and it was packed, making it tough to find space to practice some moves

Check the weather before you go! I visited on a rainy day and the surfaces were slippery which made things tricky. A dry day would totally enhance your experience.

One tip that helped me was to download offline maps. Cell service can be spotty, and getting lost in such a beautiful place is frustrating. Much better to enjoy the scenery!

My advice is to check the wind conditions before heading out. I didn’t, and ended up wasting time waiting for the wind to pick up. There are some apps that give real-time updates!

I think it’s a good idea to pack a thermos with hot drinks and snacks. The hut might not be open, and trust me, the cold can really hit you when you’re taking a break.
