Flam Railway

My advice is to ride on the left side of the train for the best camera views of the fjords. I totally missed some spectacular shots sitting on the right side!

Keep an eye on the weather! It can change fast, so wearing layers is the way to go. I regretted not bringing my jacket when the breeze kicked in during the ride

I recommend taking the time to visit the Flåm Railway Museum after your ride – it was a hidden treasure! I almost skipped it, but it was totally worth it for the history and insights.

If you're into photography, go around 7 PM for that golden hour light. The views are insane, and you’ll get some epic shots without too many people around!

I recommend buying your tickets online ahead of time to skip the long queues. I wish I had done that instead of waiting in line for almost an hour!

Make sure to check the weather forecast before you go up. It can get pretty foggy on top, and I wish I had waited for a nicer day to enjoy the views
