Lahore Zoo
I recommend wearing comfortable shoes. The zoo is pretty spread out, and you'll do a lot of walking. Trust me, I regretted not wearing my best walking shoes.
Race Course
I suggest visiting early in the morning around 7 AM. The weather is so much nicer, plus you can avoid crowds and grab some cool photos before it gets busy.
I recommend exploring the small gardens and quiet corners! They are often overlooked by tourists and you might just find a lovely spot to chill out and enjoy the scenery.
My advice is to bring your own snacks and water. There are food stalls, but they can be a bit pricey and sometimes not the best quality.
Ayub National Park
Wear comfortable shoes! I didn't realize how much walking there would be, and I regretted wearing fancy shoes. Your feet will thank you.
Get there by 8 AM to avoid the crowds and really enjoy the peaceful nature. Trust me, the morning air and quiet paths make a big difference!
Shalimar Bagh
Check the weather before you go. I went on a sunny day and it was gorgeous, but a cooler time of year or cloudy day would be more pleasant if you're planning to stay for a while
Visit the historical sections outside of peak hours like around 4 PM. The light is beautiful then for photos and it’s less busy when you want to appreciate the art and architecture.
Bring a water bottle and some snacks. The park is huge, and you’ll want to enjoy a picnic while taking in the beautiful architecture and gardens rather than spending unnecessarily at food stalls.
Bagh-e-Jinnah
Khewra Salt Mines
Greater Iqbal Park
I suggest visiting in the early morning, around 7 AM. The park is quieter, and you can really enjoy the views without the huge crowds and heat.
Hiran MInar Park
I think you should explore the garden areas before heading to the Hiran Minar itself. You'll likely find quiet spots to chill and appreciate the architecture without the rush.
I suggest visiting during the early morning around 8 AM. The park is less crowded then, and the light for photos is awesome. Trust me, it makes a huge difference for your pics.
My advice is to bring some snacks and water. The food stalls can be a bit pricey and not all that great, so packing your own treats saves you money.
Lahore Wildlife Park
Lal Suhanra National Park
I recommend bringing your own snacks and drinks to save money inside the park. The food options can be quite overpriced and not that great. A picnic by the lake is a perfect spot!
