Clifton Beach

If you can, hit the beach early, around 8 AM, for fewer crowds and a peaceful vibe. Plus, the sunrise is gorgeous!

Be mindful of the vendors – they’re mostly okay, but you can find better prices if you explore a bit instead of just buying from the first one you see.

Make sure to take cash! Some of the best local snacks from street vendors only take cash, and you don't want to miss out on the tasty treats.
Karachi Zoo Park

Bring your own snacks and water! The food inside can be pricey and not the best quality. I was glad I packed some sandwiches to keep my energy up.

If you have kids, bring a small stroller or wagon. The park is larger than it looks, and it’ll save everyone from getting tired too quickly.

Don't miss the bird show! It’s super entertaining and was one of the highlights of my visit. It happens around 3 PM, so plan accordingly.
French Beach

Pack your own snacks and drinks. I thought I could find decent food options there, but most stalls were overpriced and didn't offer much. Bring your picnic instead!

I recommend wearing flip-flops; the sand gets super hot during the afternoon! My feet were burning when I forgot mine and had to walk back to the car.

If you’re planning to hit the beach, I suggest going on a weekday. It’s way less crowded, and you can really enjoy the peace. I went on a Saturday and it was packed!

If you're catching a ride, try to leave by 9 AM to avoid that killer Karachi traffic. It'll save you a ton of time, trust me!
Kirthar
Churna Island

My advice is to negotiate with the boatmen before you set off. I paid a bit more than I should have for a trip around the island. Next time, I'll try to get a better deal by asking locals first!
Gorakh Hill

Make sure to check the weather before you go. I went on a foggy day and missed out on some stunning views. Clear days are the best for photos!

Take plenty of snacks and water... There aren't many places to buy food once you're up there, and trust me, the hike makes you hungry
