Fish 'n Fins Palau

Bring your own snacks and drinks for the boat. The food provided was okay, but I wish I had some of my favs to enjoy between dives.

I suggest booking your dives a few day in advance, especially during peak season. I waited too long and ended up missing out on some awesome spots.

If you're renting gear, double-check everything—my wetsuit had a small rip which they quickly fixed, but it cost me precious minutes!

I recommend taking the early morning dives, around 7 AM. The water is calmer, and the visibility is incredible. Plus, you'll beat the crowds.
Palau Dive Adventures

I suggest checking the current dive conditions before you go. I didn't and ended up in some rough waters that day. Better safe than sorry!

I recommend booking your dives ahead of time, especially during peak season. I didn't and missed out on a few spots. The early bird gets the worm, right?

I think it's worth investing in a diving package if you're planning multiple dives. It can save you quite a bit of money compared to pay-per-dive rates, trust me!

My advice is to rent your gear in advance. I ended up paying more because I waited until I got there. Plus, it just makes things smoother!
Sam's Tours Palau
Blue Marlin

My advice is to rent your snorkeling gear from Blue Marlin instead of other places. It’s super affordable, and the gear is in great condition. I tried saving money by bringing my own gear, but it was way less comfortable!
Paddling Palau

I suggest renting a kayak for a full day instead of just a few hours; you'll save money overall and have plenty of time to explore the little coves and lagoons. I wish I had done that.

I recommend bringing your own snacks and water. The nearby shops can be pricey and you don’t want to get caught hungry while out on the water. Trust me it saved me some cash!
