If you're planning to hike, bring cash for the entrance fee. I brought my card and had to find an ATM outside the park, which wasted some time. Plus, the entrance fee is super affordable!

Don’t forget your bug spray, especially in the early morning or late afternoon. I got eaten alive on my first trek and wished I had better protection!

i recommend visiting the pipeline road—it has the best birdwatching if you're into that. but, plan a half-day for it since there’s so much to see. it’s a photographer's paradise!

I suggest bringing cash for entrance fees and local snacks, as not all places accept cards... I ran out of money on my visit and it was a hassle to find an ATM

you might wanna wear good hiking boots instead of sneakers. trust me, the terrain can be slippery and rocky. learned that the hard way!

I think it's best to start your trek by 7 AM to avoid the heat and catch the wildlife active in the morning. I started later and missed a lot!

My advice is to download an offline map of the park. Cell service can be spotty, and you don’t want to get lost while enjoying the beautiful trails!

Bring snacks and plenty of water! The park is vast, and it can take a while to explore. I found myself wishing I had more options when hunger struck.

Check out the trails with varying difficulties; some are super easy and perfect if you just want to enjoy the views without breaking a sweat. I was surprised by how much you can experience without being an experienced hiker.

Wear comfortable shoes because the paths can be a bit uneven. I wore my fashion sneakers, and trust me, it was a mistake. You’ll want something sturdy for a better experience!

plan to visit in the early morning around 7 am. it's cooler and quieter, plus you might catch glimpses of wildlife before the heat drives them away. i loved having the trails mostly to myself.

Arrive by 5 PM if it's a night game. You’ll have enough time to soak in the atmosphere and check out the merch without feeling rushed. Plus, it's a nice way to mingle with the locals!

bring a small backpack with snacks and drinks. the prices inside can be steep, and while the vibe is fun, i wish i'd had some of my own treats to enjoy!

I recommend trying to come on a weekday. I went on a Saturday, and it was packed. Weekdays are way quieter, and you can get more personalized instruction.

I suggest booking your shooting experience online ahead of time to avoid long waits. Trust me, it can get really busy, especially on weekends.

My advice is to rent a boat on your own if you can. I went with a tour and felt rushed. Having the freedom to explore at your own pace was totally worth it!

I recommend checking the weather before you go, especially during rainy season. I got caught in a storm and it kind of ruined the vibe. A little planning goes a long way!
