Top Museums in Lima

My advice is to join the tour that includes the catacombs. I didn't and missed out on some great stories and details that would have made it even cooler.

Check out the small café inside for a quick snack. I grabbed a sandwich and it was surprisingly tasty for a museum eatery. Plus, it gave me a nice break!

I suggest getting there right when it opens at 9 AM. The crowds can get pretty crazy later in the day, and you’ll have more time to really enjoy the exhibits without rushing.

I think you should take your time with the audio guides. They really add a ton of context to the artifacts, and you'll get the most out of your visit. Don't rush!

If you're planning to grab a snack, skip the cafe inside. It's kind of pricey and the options aren't great. There's a nice place just outside the museum with better food!

I suggest visiting on a Wednesday when they have free admission! It saved me some cash and the crowd was way smaller, making it easier to enjoy the art.
