Check out the La Mina Trail if you're looking for a waterfall experience. It's totally worth the hike, but I recommend wearing sturdy shoes because it can get slippery!

I suggest arriving right when the park opens around 7 AM to snag a good parking spot and avoid the crowds on popular trails... Trust me it's way more peaceful in the morning

bring your own snacks and water! the nearby shops can be pricey, and having your own food saved me some extra cash and kept my energy up while hiking.

Try to visit on a weekday preferably early in the morning around 8 AM. It was less crowded then and the wildlife was super active.

Bring a waterproof phone case or a camera. I had some amazing photo ops while kayaking, and you don't want to miss capturing those moments!

Don’t skip the trails! They’re not super well-marked, but wandering around was one of the highlights for me. Just make sure to wear good shoes

If you're gonna kayak, I'd suggest renting from the local place instead of bringing your own. The rentals are super affordable and save you the hassle of transporting your gear.
