Beaches in La Digue:
Anse Source D'argent
Bring your own snacks and drinks! The nearby kiosks can be pricey, and there are great spots to relax and enjoy a picnic right on the beach.
If you can, try to visit around 8 AM. The beach is much quieter, and you’ll get the best light for photos before the crowds start rolling in
Wear water shoes if you can! The rocky areas can be a bit tricky to walk on, but with the right footwear, it’ll make your experience a breeze.
Anse Cocos
One thing I wish I’d known is to wear water shoes. The rocks can be slippery and uncomfortable, so having those makes it so much easier to walk around.
Anse Marron
Check the tide times before you set off. I went at high tide and couldn't access the beach easily. It was a bummer, but low tide looks way better for swimming!
Anse Severe Beach
Anse La Reunion Beach
My advice is to visit around 4 PM for the best lighting and fewer crowds... The sunset views are stunning and it’s less hectic than during midday when everyone is there
