Check the tide times before you go! I didn’t and ended up dealing with low tides that made some areas tricky to navigate. I think high tide is much better for snorkeling.

Start your hike early, like around 7 am. The morning light is stunning, and you’ll beat the heat plus the crowds! Trust me, it makes a huge difference

Wear good shoes! I thought my flip-flops would be fine but ended up regretting it. A pair of hiking sandals or proper trainers will make your trek much more enjoyable.

Bring plenty of water and some snacks. I ran out halfway through and it was a bit miserable. Plus, the views are so good, you'll want to take a long break.

I recommend bringing your own snorkelling gear if you can. Rentals can be pricey and may not always have the best quality. I saved quite a bit doing this plus I got to enjoy the water without worrying about fitting into the rental stuff.

My advice is to visit during the week, preferably on a Tuesday or Wednesday. It was way less crowded then, and I actually got the chance to see more marine life without a bunch of other snorkelers splashing around.
