I think taking the self-guided tour is a fantastic idea. You'll go at your own pace, and there's plenty of info on the signs along the track. I spent more time exploring than I planned because there's so much to see!

My advice is to wear good hiking shoes... The trails can get a bit slippery and uneven, especially after a rain... Plus, I regretted not having a sturdy pair and ended up with sore feet by the end!

I suggest bringing snacks and water with you. There aren't many places to grab a bite within the reserve, so having some food will save you time and keep your energy up while hiking. Trust me, you don't want to get hungry out there!

If you want to catch the best sun, I suggest hitting the beach before 10 AM. The early morning light is stunning and way fewer people around, trust me, it makes a huge difference!

Watch out for your stuff on busy days; I left my towel unattended for just a minute and someone took it! My advice is to keep an eye on your belongings or use a beach bag that's a bit more secure.

Snorkeling is a must, but I recommend bringing your own gear if you can. Rental prices can be a bit steep, and the quality isn't always the best. Save some cash and enjoy better equipment!

Consider taking the path from Anse Lazio to Georgette instead of the other way around. The views are just stunning as you approach Georgette, and it's a great way to end your trek!

Bring snacks and plenty of water! The hike can be more challenging than it looks, and you don't want to end up missing out on enjoying Anse Georgette due to hunger or thirst.

I suggest packing a cooler with snacks and drinks. The island doesn’t have shops, and it's a bummer having to leave early just for food. Plus, enjoy a picnic on the gorgeous beach!

I recommend snorkelling around 10 AM when the water is super clear and calm. I honestly wish I’d known that, the experience was way better than going in the afternoon.
