Top Museums in Makkah

Don’t miss the interactive exhibitions! I thought they were just for kids, but I really enjoyed them as an adult. They make the history come alive!

Beware of visiting on weekends! It can get super busy and you might not get the full experience. I found weekdays to be way quieter and more enjoyable.

I suggest checking out the museum's gift shop on your way out. They have some unique souvenirs that you won't find anywhere else plus it's usually less crowded then.

I recommend going in the morning or right after lunch, like around 1 PM, to avoid the big crowds. It's way more chill, and you can really soak in the exhibits without rushing.

I suggest grabbing the museum brochure as soon as you arrive. It's full of neat tidbits that the staff might not tell you during your visit, and it really enhanced my experience!

I think skipping the expensive guided tours can save you some cash. The museum has plenty of info, so you can enjoy it at your own pace with just a brochure

I recommend getting there right when it opens at 9 AM. It got super crowded later and I wished I’d had more time to explore without the rush.
