Beefcakes
I think happy hour from 5 to 7 PM is a great time to visit. You can enjoy cheaper drinks and maybe even taste some of their delicious snacks.
If you want to save money, I recommend sharing plates. The portions are generous, and sharing allows you to try more dishes without breaking the bank.
Ratz Bar
My advice is to check out their theme nights ahead of time! We stumbled in on a karaoke night and had a blast, but I would’ve loved to see some specific performances they have on weekends.
If you're looking to avoid the crowds, try hitting up Ratz Bar on a Wednesday or Thursday night. It was way less packed, and we could chat easier!
The Factory
Don’t miss the themed nights! I thought it might be cheesy, but they were actually a blast and attracted a cool crowd. Plan your visit around them!
If you can, try to sit outside. The ambiance is way better, plus you get to people-watch which is always fun. Just be careful of the odd gust of wind!
Get there around 8 PM for a lively atmosphere. I found the later it got, the more packed it became, but earlier there were more chill vibes to enjoy a drink and chat.
Rara's
I recommend checking their social media for any weekly specials or events; you might score some awesome deals!
The Rec Room
I recommend trying out the themed nights; they’re super fun and you'll meet some really friendly people. Just check their schedule ahead of time!
My advice is to check out the happy hour deals from 5 to 7 PM... You can really save some cash on drinks and snacks before the night gets going
Babylon The Joburg Bar
I had a blast but if you're looking to save some cash hit up happy hour from 5-7 PM for cheap drinks. Who doesn't love a good deal right?
Camp David
My advice is to bring cash for some places; not all spots take card. I ended up scrambling to find an ATM which wasted time that could've been spent enjoying the place.
