Try and get there by 9:30 am. The earlier you arrive, the better choice you have of the playing fields and it's less crowded. We arrived late and ended up waiting a bit.

I recommend wearing old clothes! You will get muddy and paint splatters are guaranteed. I regret wearing my favorite sneakers, they’re kind of ruined now.

I suggest checking the weather before you go as it can get really windy. If it’s on the chillier side dress accordingly to enjoy your time without being uncomfortable.

I think you should take advantage of their rental gear if you don't have your own. It’s pretty decent quality, and it'll save you the hassle of packing heavy.
