Nuestra Signora del Pilar
Piedra Monastery
If you want to save some cash, check the ticket prices online before you go. Sometimes there's a discount for booking in advance; it worked out great for me!
I suggest visiting on a weekday if you can; it was way less crowded for me, and I could savor the beauty of the place. Weekends can get pretty busy!
I suggest taking the route down through the park first, as you'll get to see some stunning views before you head back up. Plus, it's a nice little warm-up before exploring the monastery itself!
Timing is everything! The waterfalls are most stunning early in the morning around 10 AM when the sun hits just right. Don't miss that photo op!
Alhaferia
I think it’s a good idea to download an audio guide or look up a quick history overview before you visit. It made the architecture way more interesting than just wandering around.
Don’t forget to check for discounted tickets if you’re a student or under 26. I saved a few euros! It’s a small win but hey, every little bit helps.
Lastly, I suggest you check out the view from the top floors. The vista over Zaragoza is surprisingly beautiful and worth the climb!
Make sure to wear comfy shoes! You’ll be doing a lot of walking through the castle and gardens, and trust me, those cobblestones can be a bit unforgiving.
Plaza of Our Lady of the Pillar
Casa de Tejidos El Torico
My advice is to bring a small notebook or your phone to jot down interesting facts. There’s so much history to absorb, and trust me, you’ll forget a lot by the time you leave.
If you want the best pics, try to go around 3 PM. The lighting was fantastic for photos at that time. I went in the morning and the shadows played tricks on my camera!
Bring comfortable shoes! There’s a lot of walking and some stairs to climb. I wore cute boots that I regreted halfway through my visit.
I suggest checking out their little gift shop after. I found some unique textiles that aren't available anywhere else in Teruel, and at reasonable prices!
Stone Bridge
Market Central de Zaragoza
Cathedral of the Savior
Be ready for some stairs. The climb up to the bell tower is totally worth it for the views, but it's a workout, so wear comfy shoes
