my advice is to wear proper hiking boots, especially if it's been rainy recently - i made the mistake of wearing regular sneakers and my feet ended up soaked!

I suggest packing a picnic. There are some stunning spots along the way to relax and enjoy your lunch without spending tons at cafes.

I recommend downloading a hiking app that has offline maps. Phone coverage can be spotty, and I got a bit lost trying to follow just a paper map.
Fernando Buesa Arena
Bilbao Arena

If you're going to watch a game, I suggest arriving around 1.5 hours early. It gives you time to find parking and grab a bite before the game starts – trust me, the food stalls get crazy busy.

Bring your own water bottle! They allow them, and prices for drinks inside are pretty steep. I saved a good bit by filling up before going in.
Cafe Billiards Eastlife
Zarautz Beach

i suggest trying out the local pintxos at the small bars near the beach. they're affordable and sooo delicious! i spent a bit too much at the big restaurants, so now i know the hidden gems.

If you wanna dodge the crowded beach, try getting there before 10 AM. It’s super chill in the morning and you can grab a nice spot without fighting for space. Plus, the sunrise views are stunning!
Mundaka Beach

I suggest hitting the beach in the morning around 9 AM to snag a good spot before the crowds roll in. I did that and it made all the difference!

My advice is to bring your own snacks and drinks, as the beach cafe can be a bit pricey. I made the mistake of not doing this and ended up spending way more than I wanted.
Playa de Sopelana

I recommend hitting the beach early, like around 9 AM. It's way less crowded, and you can snag a good spot with stunning views. Plus, the waves are calmer for beginners!
my advice is to pack a picnic instead of buying food at the beach. there are nice grassy areas to chill, and i found the beach restaurants to be a bit pricey!
Plaza de Toros de Illumbe

My advice is to check the game schedule before heading there. I went for a game that was exciting, but it was on a weekday evening and the crowd was a bit sparse. Weekends can be a blast!
Amusement Park Monte Igeldo

I think it’s worth investing in a day pass if you're planning to go on multiple rides. It’s a bit more upfront, but trust me, it’ll save you from spending on individual tickets all day.

I recommend visiting during weekday mornings, like around 10 AM, to avoid the big crowds. The lines for rides can get super long, and it’s way better to enjoy everything with less waiting!
