Guggenheim Museum Bilbao

My advice would be to grab a snack at the museum café but to eat outside. The views of the river and bridge are stunning, and it adds to the experience.
After your visit, stroll along the riverfront. It's a beautiful space to reflect on the art and soak in the surroundings – I loved that part!

If you're planning to explore the museum thoroughly, dedicate at least half a day. I didn’t realize how much there was to see and rushed through some exhibits
Museum of Fine Arts

I think using the audio guide is totally worth it. It gives you way more context about the pieces and you'll appreciate the art on a whole new level. Trust me skip the general info and dive deeper!

i recommend visiting on thursday or friday afternoon; it's usually less crowded, and you can enjoy the art without bumping into people. plus, the light in the galleries is beautiful during that time.

If you want to save some cash, check if they have any temporary free-entry days. My visit happened to coincide with one, and it was a nice surprise!
Ria de Bilbao Maritime Museum

i suggest getting the bilbao card if you're planning on visiting multiple attractions; it can save you money and includes public transport. totally worth it!

Try to visit on a weekday morning, around 10 AM. It was super quiet then, so I could really take my time enjoying the exhibitions.
Basque Museum
I suggest buying your tickets online to avoid the lines. I didn't do this and wasted about 30 mins just waiting! Make sure to check if there are any discount days too.

I recommend checking out the museum shop before you leave. They have unique souvenirs that you won't find in other shops. I found a great book on Basque culture there!

My advice is to really take your time in the first gallery. I rushed through it but found it super interesting afterwards. I think you’ll find cool stuff if you just slow down a bit.
