Tenerife
I recommend visiting Playa de las Teresitas early in the morning, around 8 AM. The golden sand and calm waters are perfect for a chill beach day before the tourists arrive.
If you want to get great surf lessons, look for local schools rather than big brands... I got a fantastic deal with a small surf shop that wasn't on the main tourist radar - way more personalized!
Lanzarote
Bring your own snacks and drinks to the beach! Many of the beach bars can be a bit overpriced and you’ll save a lot by packing a cooler. Plus it’s nice to have your favorite treats while soaking up the sun.
Gran Canaria
Fuerteventura
I suggest getting a rental car. It gave me the freedom to explore those hidden beaches and spots like Playa de Cofete without relying on public transport. Trust me, it's worth it!
Stay in Corralejo, it's super fun with lots of bars and restaurants. Plus, you're close to the northern beaches. I loved how lively it felt, especially at night!
El Hierro
I suggest visiting the natural pools in La Maceta for a unique swimming experience, but go on a weekday if possible. Weekends can get super busy, and you won’t want to miss out on the calm and serenity!
