Wear good hiking shoes with decent grip; some sections can get pretty slippery. I did it in regular trainers and slipped way more than I’d like to admit!

Definitely bring plenty of water and snacks – the hike can be more challenging than it looks, and you don’t want to be caught unprepared. Trust me, I regretted not having enough fuel halfway up.

Check the weather beforehand! It can change quickly in the mountains. I got caught in a drizzle, and while it was still fun, it made some sections a bit sketchier.
