Dali Theatre-Museum
CosmoCaixa
My tip is to wear comfy shoes! You’ll do a lot of walking, and trust me, your feet will thank you after climbing all those stairs and exploring.
If you're into interactive exhibits, head straight to the 'Flooded Forest' and 'Biosphere' areas first. Those got super busy by lunchtime!
I think packing your own snacks is a smart move. The onsite café can be a bit pricey, and there are lots of spots to chill and munch inside.
I recommend getting there right when it opens at 10 AM. It’s way less crowded then, and you can explore without feeling rushed. Plus, you can snap those Insta-worthy pics!
National Museum of Art of Catalonia
Museum Picasso
I recommend getting your tickets online beforehand. It saved me from waiting in that long line outside, and I got right in! Plus, sometimes you can find online discounts
Check out their temporary exhibits too! I was surprised by how they brought in fresh perspectives on Picasso, it added a lot to my experience, plus it was less crowded than the main collection
Spanish Village
If you're a fan of food, don’t skip the café there; it has some local bites! I tried the tapas and it was delish! Just be ready for a wait if it's lunchtime, but it's worth it.
I think it’s best to visit on a weekday if you can. I went on Saturday, and it was packed—way harder to take photos and really soak it all in. Not the vibe I wanted.
My advice is to take part in one of the workshops offered... I thought they’d be boring, but it was super fun and I got to make a cool souvenir... Totally worth the extra cost!
I suggest getting there right when it opens at 10 AM. The place gets busy fast, and the earlier you arrive, the more time you’ll have to enjoy everything without the crowd. Trust me, it makes a difference.
Maritime Museum of Barcelona
Joan Miro Foundation
Don't forget to explore the gardens outside; they’re so peaceful and filled with Miro’s sculptures. I totally almost missed that part, and it was one of the highlights!
Bring a small snack or drink with you because the café is a bit pricey and I ended up spending more than I expected. Plus, there are some nice spots to sit and enjoy your own food outside!
Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau
buy your tickets online! i didn't, and ended up waiting in a huge line. it saved me a ton of time once i figured this out after my visit
The gardens are nice, but if you want some good photos without many people, head to the Hospital entrance around 5 PM. The light is gorgeous then!
Check out the little cafe inside! I stumbled upon it and was pleasantly surprised. Prices are decent for a museum, and their pastries are yummy and energizing for more exploring!
Make sure to check the opening times before you go; they can be a bit tricky. I got there too early once and had to wait around. Going around 10:30 AM should be perfect to avoid the big crowds.
Salvador Dali House Museum
Be prepared for variable weather if you're going to explore the gardens; they’re stunning, but can be windy! I wish I had brought a light jacket. It’ll help keep you comfortable while wandering around.
Gaudi Museum
If you're short on time, focus on the highlights like the park and Casa Batlló. I made the mistake of trying to see everything and it got overwhelming.
