Cala Fonda

Check the tide schedule before you go. I found the best swimming times were just after low tide when the water was clear and calm. Totally worth planning ahead!

Forget the flip-flops and wear water shoes instead. The rocky areas can be a bit tough on bare feet, and water shoes made it way easier to get around.
Platja de Cunit

bring your own beach umbrella if you want shade – renting one can add up and my friend ended up spending way more than expected.

If you're on a budget, hit up the beach bars during happy hour for cheaper drinks and snacks – I snagged a great mojito for half price!
Platja Mar Menuda

I think you should check the tide schedule before you go. When the tide is low the beach shrinks so you might want to plan your swim around that. Otherwise you might end up with a very tiny beach!

Don’t forget sunscreen, even if it looks cloudy! I forgot it one day and ended up looking like a lobster. A good tip is to reapply every couple of hours, especially after swimming.

If you're looking to save a few bucks, bring some snacks and drinks. The cafes nearby are a bit pricey, and you can enjoy your own food while soaking up the sun.
Los Muertos Beach

Don't forget your snacks and drinks! There's fewer shops nearby, and the ones that are often overpriced. I wish I had packed more food.

I think going around 5 PM is perfect; the sun starts to set, and the beach gets less crowded but still has a nice vibe.

I recommend checking the local weather in advance. I missed out on a beach day because of sudden rain, and it totally ruined my plans.
Cala Giverola

I suggest bringing your own snacks and drinks; the beach bar prices were a bit steep. You'll save a lot and enjoy munching in your own spot!

If you're into snorkeling, bring your own gear! The rental prices are higher than you'd think, and the underwater views are fantastic!
Platja de Altafulla

Pack some snacks or a light lunch; beachside restaurants can be pricey. I found a cute picnic spot near the rocks that made for a lovely, budget-friendly meal.

If you want a quieter beach experience, head to the far left side of the beach early in the morning, around 9 AM. You'll find more space and less noise
Cala El Golfet

My advice is to wear water shoes. The rocky areas can be tricky, and it really helps to have some grip while you explore the beautiful surroundings

Get there by 9 AM if you want to snag a good spot. It gets crowded quickly, especially during the summer, and the best views can fill up fast.

I recommend bringing your own snacks and drinks since the beach can get busy and nearby options are limited. It's a great way to save money and enjoy a picnic with a view!
Cala Sa Tuna

I think packing a picnic is a smart move! The beach bars can be pricey. We spent way too much on snacks, but it’s such a beautiful place to eat right by the sea.

Definitely try to grab a spot on the beach early, like by 9 AM, since it gets super crowded by noon. I missed out on the best spots because I arrived late!

Bring some water shoes! The rocky spots on the beach can be a bit tough on your feet. I regretted it after stepping on sharp rocks and ended up spending extra on flip-flops.

Don’t forget to explore nearby paths for stunning views, especially right before sunset around 7 PM. I stumbled upon a fantastic lookout but wished I had a better camera with me!
Cala Treumal

Get there around 9 AM to snag a good spot on the beach before it fills up. Trust me, it gets crowded fast, especially on weekends!

If you’re into water sports, try to book in advance. We waited too long and missed out on some fun activities like paddleboarding.

Check out the walking paths along the coast for stunning views. A little hike gives you a nice break from the beach vibe and some cool photo ops!
Calafell Beach

My advice is to bring your own snacks and drinks if you can. Beach kiosks can be pricey, and I regretted spending so much on just a soda.
