Ciutadella Park

Check out the lake area for some cute rowboat rentals. It’s a nice way to unwind but try to go before 3 PM when it gets really crowded!

Save some cash by bringing your own snacks and drinks! There are lovely spots to chill and it can be pricey at the kiosks inside the park.

If you're into people-watching, grab a bench near the playground or the fountain. Watching local kids play is super fun and gives you a taste of daily life in Barcelona.

don't miss the cascada monumental—it's stunning! i was blown away by the details. it’s great for a photo op, so take your time there
Park Guell

Don't miss the bus or metro ride there! Public transport is really cheap and efficient, plus it adds to the Barcelona experience without the hassle of parking.

Try to get there right when the park opens at 9 AM. You'll beat the crowds and have more space to enjoy the beautiful areas without too many people in your photos

If you want to save some money, bring your own snacks and drinks. The onsite café is pretty pricey for a quick bite.
Serra de Collserola Natural Park
Barcelona Aquarium

If you can, visit on a weekday, especially Tuesday or Wednesday. The crowds were way lighter, and I didn't feel rushed at all!

Definitely buy your tickets online! I saved time by skipping the line, which looked super long at the entrance. Plus, you can sometimes find discounts online

Check out the feeding times for the sharks and rays. I totally missed it but heard it was a highlight! I recommend marking it on your map when you get there.

Don't skip the gift shop! I found some cute and unique souvenirs there that you won't spot at other touristy spots. Just watch your budget, they can be a bit pricey.
Cala Fonda

If you can, visit during the week instead of the weekend. It was so crowded on Saturday that I couldn't find a good spot to lay my towel. Weekdays are way more chill!

Bring your own snacks and drinks! There aren't many options around the beach and what’s available can be pricey. I saved a ton by packing my own cooler.

Consider bringing an umbrella or pop-up tent for shade. The sun can be relentless, and I regretted not having any shade while lounging on the beach.

Check the tide schedule before you go. I found the best swimming times were just after low tide when the water was clear and calm. Totally worth planning ahead!
Platja de Cunit

I found that the early mornings around 7 AM were the best for a peaceful beach walk before the crowds showed up. Totally worth it!

bring your own beach umbrella if you want shade – renting one can add up and my friend ended up spending way more than expected.

If you're on a budget, hit up the beach bars during happy hour for cheaper drinks and snacks – I snagged a great mojito for half price!
Montserrat
If you're planning to hike, get a good map. I got lost for a bit on the trails, and without clear signs, it can be tricky to navigate.

I recommend visiting on a weekday. It gets really busy on weekends, so you'll enjoy the hikes more if you go when there's fewer people around.

I suggest taking the cable car up instead of the funicular if you're short on time. It saves a lot of walking and the views are stunning! Just check the schedule, because it can get crowded.
Platja Mar Menuda

I suggest visiting after 6 PM. The sunset views are incredible! Plus, the atmosphere gets more relaxed and less packed, perfect for a quiet evening stroll.

I think you should check the tide schedule before you go. When the tide is low the beach shrinks so you might want to plan your swim around that. Otherwise you might end up with a very tiny beach!

Don’t forget sunscreen, even if it looks cloudy! I forgot it one day and ended up looking like a lobster. A good tip is to reapply every couple of hours, especially after swimming.

If you're looking to save a few bucks, bring some snacks and drinks. The cafes nearby are a bit pricey, and you can enjoy your own food while soaking up the sun.
Orth's Labyrinth

Beware of the pigeons! I wasn't ready for them to swoop in while I was snacking, and I lost half my sandwich. Keep your food tucked away until you're ready to sit down.

I recommend going on a weekday early around 9 AM. It was way less crowded and we could really enjoy the peaceful vibe of the labyrinth. Plus you get the perfect morning light for photos!

Bring a small picnic! There are lovely spots to relax, and grabbing a snack from a cafe nearby is way pricier than what you can pack at home.

I think you should download an offline map beforehand. Service can be spotty once you're in the labyrinth, and getting lost can be frustrating but also fun if you're prepared!
