My advice is to try to go around 10 am when the wind conditions are usually ideal for beginners. I went later in the afternoon and it was way too windy for a calm first experience!

I recommend renting your gear in advance online to snag better deals and avoid long lines at the club. It’ll save you some time and money! Trust me, I learned the hard way when I showed up and everything was booked out

My advice is to bring your own snacks and drinks. The prices at the surf school can be a bit steep. I saved a good bit of cash just by packing a cooler

I recommend getting to Oliva Surf early around 9 AM to grab the best spot on the beach. It fills up quickly, and you want to have a nice place to chill before your lessons.
