If you have kids, don’t forget to take some water bottles and snacks. We underestimated how much they would need during our visit, and the heat caught us off guard!

I suggest visiting early around 9 AM to beat the crowds—it's way more enjoyable without the hustle and bustle. You can get some great pics too!
Malvarrosa Beach

I suggest exploring the promenade after your beach time. There’s great street art and local shops that are fun to check out, plus it’s not too far from the beach.

Check the wind conditions before you go. It can get pretty breezy in the afternoon, which might not be ideal for lounging!
Gardens of the Real One

I highly recommend visiting in the late afternoon around 5 PM when the light is perfect for photos and the temperature's cooler. Plus, it gets a bit less crowded, which is great for enjoying the gardens.

pack a small picnic! there are nice spots to chill around the gardens. i saw a few people enjoying theirs and thinking, 'man, i should've brought snacks!'

If you love art, keep an eye out for temporary exhibits inside... I accidentally found one and it made my visit even better... So, it’s worth asking when you arrive!

Check out the free guided tours; they're available sometimes! I stumbled upon one, and it was actually really informative and fun. Totally worth it!
Cabecera Park

I think you should consider investing in a day pass for public transportation instead of using taxis; the park is pretty accessible and it'll save you some bucks.

I suggest you visit early in the morning, around 8 AM, to enjoy the peace and quiet before the crowds - it's a different vibe! The light is also gorgeous for photos.

I recommend wearing comfy shoes; the park is bigger than it looks, and you might end up walking a lot more than you planned.

Don't forget to pack a picnic. There are loads of lovely grassy spots where you can chill. Plus, the park has some cute little cafes if you don’t feel like bringing your own food.
Botanical Garden of Valencia
Las Arenas Beach

I recommend grabbing a beach lounger early in the day, like around 9 AM. They get snatched up quick, and believe me, you don't wanna be stuck on the sand with no shade.

If you’re driving, be careful with the parking! I parked in a nearby garage, and it was pricey. If you can, use public transport—it’ll save you money and stress!
Monfort Gardens
Albufera

I think the sunset boat ride is a must-do, but book your spot for around 7 PM. That way, you catch the golden hour without fighting crowds or dealing with too much heat

My advice is to avoid the touristy restaurants by the water. I found a small local place a little further away that had amazing paella at a fraction of the price. Worth the trek!

I recommend renting a bike to explore the area; it's way more fun than walking, and you can cover more ground quickly. Just watch out for the heat, though! Bring water!
