Kleine Scheidegg

Bring your own lunch! The mountain eateries are cute, but pricier than you'd expect. I packed a sandwich and saved a ton, plus it was nice to snack on the slopes.

Don’t forget to try the local cheese fondue after a long day of snowboarding. It’s super cozy and a great way to unwind; just be ready for a bit of a wait during peak hours.
If you want to skip gear rental lines, bring your own equipment. Rentals can take a while, especially during peak season, and having your own saves time!
Grindelwald-First

My advice is to bring your own gear if you can. Renting can get super expensive, especially if you need multiple days - I ended up paying way too much!

If you’re coming for skiing or snowboarding aim for weekdays rather than weekends. The slopes are way less crowded and you’ll have more space to enjoy!

I suggest buying your lift tickets online a day before. It saves you a few bucks and time waiting in line, plus you can plan your day better!
Hang Gliding Interlaken
I recommend wearing layers, as the weather can change quickly in the mountains. It was sunny one minute and chilly the next, and I felt a bit cold up in the air. A light jacket worked wonders!

You might want to bring some snacks or a small water bottle. There wasn’t much time between the briefing and the flight, and I was kinda hungry afterwards. Keeping some snacks handy would be bright!

I suggest booking your flight in the morning around 9am. The winds are generally calmer and the views are breathtaking at that time. Plus you'll have the rest of the day for other activities!
Skydive Switzerland Interlaken

My advice is to bring some snacks and water with you. The whole process takes a while, and after your jump, you might feel super hungry and thirsty. I was a bit unprepared!

I recommend booking your jump online in advance. I found that it can save you some serious time waiting in line when you get there. Plus, sometimes they have online discounts that helped me save a bit of cash.
Schilthorn
Oeschinensee
Wispile-Gstaad

I recommend packing your own snacks and drinks. The on-mountain dining options are pricey, and I regret not bringing my own food.

My advice is to hit the slopes early, around 8:30 AM. You’ll find fewer crowds and fresher snow, making your day way more enjoyable.

I think exploring the nearby trails after skiing is worth it! Got some awesome views and a nice break from the slopes. Just don’t forget your camera!
Manege et Poney Club de Presinge

I recommend downloading some local transport apps before you arrive. The public transport to Presinge is pretty reliable, and it really saved me time figuring out the best routes.

I suggest calling ahead to check if they’re running any special promotions or discounts. I stumbled upon a half-price riding lesson that I would’ve missed otherwise!

Check out their schedule ahead of time for kids' pony rides. I was lucky but I saw families who missed out because they didn’t plan right!
If you're planning to ride, wear sturdy shoes. I made the mistake of wearing sandals and spent half the time uncomfortable. Trust me, you'll want proper footwear!
Bergbahnen Destination Gstaad AG

i'd suggest purchasing your lift tickets online before you go; it saved me a bunch of time waiting in line! plus, it often has discounts that you'd miss if you bought at the mountain

My advice is to check the weather a few days in advance. I went on a foggy day where visibility was low and it kinda killed the fun. Sunshiny days make all the difference!
Panorama Trail

I think the best views are right after the first hour of hiking, but watch your step! It gets rocky and tricky up there - definitely bring a good pair of shoes.

If you're planning to grab a bite, I'd suggest packing your own lunch. The restaurants along the trail can be pricey and the food's not that special, honestly.
