Matterhorn Glacier Paradise

Definitely pack your own snacks and drinks. The restaurants up there can be super pricey, I learned this the hard way when I spent way too much on a sandwich.

I recommend checking the weather forecast closely before visiting. I had a blast, but two of my friends didn't see anything due to fog, so plan accordingly!

I suggest getting the early gondola at 8:00 AM. The views are breathtaking and you’ll avoid the crowds before they flock in around noon.

If you're planning to snowboard or ski, rent your gear in Zermatt instead of up on the mountain. It’ll save you some cash and keep you from lugging it around.
The Matterhorn-Switzerland

I think it's worth trying the local restaurants but watch out for tourist traps! I had a overpriced meal that didn't live up to the hype; ask locals for spots they recommend

My advice is to buy the Zermatt Mountain Ticket online. It saves you some bucks and time at the ticket booth, and you can focus more on enjoying the trams!

If you're planning on hiking, bring plenty of water and snacks. I ran out of energy on my first hike, and it dampened the experience a little. Staying fueled is key!

I suggest catching the sunrise at around 6:00 AM. The views are absolutely breathtaking, and there are fewer crowds, plus it makes for some great photos.
Matterhorn

Take a moment to explore the village of Zermatt after your hike. There are some cute shops and local foods that are cheaper than the touristy spots by the lifts. I found some great cheese!

Make sure to catch the sunrise around 6 AM; the glow on the Matterhorn is breathtaking and way less crowded. Bring a thermos of coffee to enjoy while you wait!
Firwaldstat Lake

Don't miss the walking trails around the lake; they offer stunning views and are less crowded than the lakeside paths. Just wear comfy shoes!

Bring your own snacks and drinks. The lakeside cafes can be pricey, and trust me, a picnic by the water is so much more enjoyable.
Underground Lake Saint-Leonard
My advice is to check the weather beforehand. If it’s rainy, it adds to the cave’s atmosphere, but also expect it to be cooler inside than outside! I know I had to dig out my jacket.
Gorner Gorge
Gorner Glacier

i suggest grabbing a snack from the kiosks in zermatt before heading out. the food prices up there are higher so it’ll save you some cash! also pack a lunch to enjoy with a view.

You gotta see the glacier before 10 AM if you want decent photos without too many people around. I went around 9, and it was perfect!
Daubensee
Ice Grotto of Mittelallalin
Walliser Alpentherme & Spa Leukerbad

I recommend checking out the combo tickets that include both the thermal baths and spa treatments. It saved me quite a bit compared to booking separately, plus it made scheduling much easier!

I suggest getting to the spa right at 9 AM when they open; it was pretty quiet then and I had the pools almost to myself for a good hour. Perfect for relaxation.
