i think it's a good idea to book your tickets online in advance. it saved me a lot of time waiting in line, and i got a little discount too!

I suggest visiting on a weekday around 2 PM if you can. It was way less crowded then, and I felt like I could really take my time and enjoy everything

My advice is to take advantage of the interactive displays. They made my visit way more engaging and fun, plus I learned a ton. Don’t just zip through them.
Petanque Nyonnaise

I suggest checking the schedule for tournaments before you go. I went and ended up missing a local game, which would have been super fun to watch. It's a great way to see the game played at a higher level.

Think about going in the late afternoon around 5 PM. We found that the crowds were way thinner then, so we could enjoy the place and even have a few rounds on the court!
Laser Game Evolution Lausanne

If you can, go on a Friday evening around 6 PM. The game has a fun vibe and the energy is high. Plus, you'll avoid the big crowds, which makes it way more enjoyable!

My advice is to wear comfortable clothes and shoes. You'll be running around a lot, and trust me, you don't want to be stuck in tight jeans.
Petanque de Crissier

I suggest playing during the weekday afternoons if you can. It gets pretty busy on weekends, so you'll have more space and fun without the rush. Plus, it’s easier to find a quiet spot to practice your game.

My advice is to bring your own drinks and snacks. The onsite café can get pricey, and there's no harm in saving some francs for more petanque fun! I regretted not doing this.

I think you should want to wear comfy shoes, cause the terrain can be a bit uneven. I wore flip-flops and ended up regretting it halfway through – not the best choice for playing a sport.
Privatir Sarl

I recommend booking your session online in advance. It can get crowded, and you don’t want to miss out, especially on weekends!

I suggest arriving about 30 minutes early. It gives you time to fill out the paperwork and get a feel for the place before your session starts.

I think wearing comfortable clothes is a must. You might be moving around a lot, and you don't want to be restricted while aiming for those targets.

My advice is to try the package deals if you're planning on multiple sessions. It saves money and gives you a chance to really improve your skills
The Lavaux Vineyard

Check out the local transport options. The trains are super efficient for getting to and from the region and you can save time instead of driving and hunting for parking.

Don't skip the wine tastings! They have fantastic local wines, and many wineries offer tastings by the glass. Just don't drink too much if you plan on hiking back!

Start your hike in the early morning, around 8 AM. The temperature is cooler, and you can enjoy the beautiful sunrise over the vineyards without the crowds. Trust me, it's worth it!
Dent de Vaulion
Boule et Petanque Renanaise

I suggest hitting the courts around 4 PM when it’s less crowded. I went midday and couldn’t find a spot to play. The evenings are nice too with a chill vibe.

if you’re hungry, check out nearby local food stalls. i found a great little place just a block away with yummy snacks on the cheap. way better than the overpriced options right there!
La Dole

If you’re not sure about the trail difficulty, check out user reviews for recent updates. Some trails can be trickier than they look; I got surprised by sudden steep sections where I expected an easy stroll.

Start your hike early, around 7 AM, to catch the stunning sunrise over the Alps. It makes for an epic photo op and you’ll have the trail mostly to yourself!

Pack a picnic breakfast. The local cafes can be pricey, and there's nothing better than enjoying some fresh bread and cheese while overlooking those gorgeous views.
