Wear sturdy shoes! The trails can get slippery, especially if it rained recently. I found out the hard way, and it wasn't super fun!

My advice is to bring layers. The weather changes fast up there! I was freezing in the morning but baking by noon. A light jacket and some breathable layers made my trek so much better.

I recommend starting your hike early, like around 6 AM, to catch the sunrise. It’s stunning and you avoid the crowds and heat later in the day. Plus, it's a more peaceful experience up there!

If you can, try to start your hike around 8 AM. It gets busy and you’ll miss the morning crowds. Plus, the weather is cooler, which makes the trek a lot easier!

I suggest bringing some snacks and water, but also pack a small lunch. There aren’t many places to buy food along the trail and it’s nice to take a break with a view!
