Uzungol

I recommend checking out the local markets for unique souvenirs. They’re cheaper than the tourist shops and you might find something special to take home

I suggest hitting Uzungol early in the morning, around 7 or 8 AM. The lake is so peaceful then, and you'll beat the crowds! Plus, you can catch some stunning sunrise photos.

If you're on a budget, bring some snacks and drinks with you. Food near the lake is a bit pricey, and there aren't too many cheap options. I learned that the hard way!

I think it’s worth visiting in the fall. The colors and scenery are simply breathtaking, plus it's less crowded, so you can enjoy everything without feeling rushed.
Karaca Cave

Bring a flashlight or your phone’s flashlight! It’s dark in some areas, and having extra light really helps you appreciate the unique formations better.

Get there early! I suggest arriving by 9 AM to avoid the crowds and have a better experience exploring the cave. It gets pretty busy by noon.

Wear sturdy shoes! The paths can get slippery, and I almost took a tumble. A good grip will make you feel way more secure while exploring.

Don't miss out on the little souvenir shop outside! They have cool local crafts and some great snacks that are much cheaper than in touristy spots.
Kackar Mountains

If you plan to hike, start early, around 7 AM. The trails can get crowded later, and the temperatures are cooler for a more enjoyable trek.

Bring cash! Some villages don't accept cards, and you'll want to shop local. I learned this the hard way when I couldn't buy some amazing handmade crafts.

I totally recommend hitting the trails early, like around 7 AM. The views are gorgeous in the morning light, and you'll beat the crowds. Trust me, it makes a big difference for photos and just enjoying the peace.
Maral Falls

My advice is to wear good shoes! The paths can get slippery and uneven, plus you’ll wanna be comfy if you plan on exploring the area around the falls.

If you wanna save some cash, bring a picnic. There are nice spots nearby to chill and eat instead of the pricey cafes.
Karagol
Artvin Kent Ormani

Hatila Valley National Park
Coruh Park

I recommend visiting Coruh Park in the early morning around 8 am. The views are stunning, and you won’t have to deal with crowds. It made my experience much more peaceful and enjoyable.

my advice is to pack a light snack or picnic. the food options inside are a bit pricey, and having my own lunch saved me some cash while enjoying the beautiful scenery.
