Mevlana Museum

I recommend visiting early, around 9 AM, to avoid the crowds and really soak in the peaceful vibe of the museum. It made such a difference for me

I think it's worth checking out the gift shop for unique souvenirs related to Mevlana. I found some beautiful items that aren’t available elsewhere in Turkey.

My advice is to take your time exploring the exhibits. The details are easy to miss if you rush through. I regret not spending more time by some of the beautiful artifacts.
If you're on a budget, check out nearby cafes for quick and cheap bites before or after your visit. I found a great spot just a few minutes away.
Ulujanlar Prison Museum
Check out the small gift shop before you leave! I found some unique souvenirs that aren't just typical tourist stuff, plus they’re pretty affordable.
Bring cash for the entrance fee; I had issues with card payments there. It's not super expensive, but you don't wanna get caught without cash!

Make sure to take breaks outside; the gardens are peaceful and perfect for chilling before heading back inside for more exhibits!

If you can, visit on a weekday around 10 AM. The crowds are way lighter then, and you can really soak in the atmosphere without feeling rushed

Altinkoy Open Air Museum

I recommend checking the weather before you go. If it’s rainy, some areas might get muddy and you might not enjoy it as much.

Try to plan your visit in the morning, around 10 AM. It was much cooler and light was nice for photos when I went

I suggest visiting on a weekday if you can. It was way less crowded when I went, and I really enjoyed taking my time with all the exhibits.

Make sure to wear comfortable shoes! The museum is pretty spread out and there's a lot of walking involved especially if you want to see everything.
MTA Sehit Cuma Dag Natural History Museum

If you're into photography, go on a weekday morning. The place is less crowded then, and you'll get the best shots without too many people photobombing your pics!

I suggest checking the opening hours before you go. I thought it would be open later, but I missed some cool exhibits because I got there an hour before closing

My advice is to take your time with the exhibits. I rushed through and didn't appreciate the details. There's so much fascinating info if you just slow down!
Rahmi M. Koc Museum Ankara

I think you should definitely take your time in the vintage car section. It was way more fascinating than I expected! Just do a bit of reading about them before you go.

I recommend checking out the outdoor exhibits first – they're super interesting and can get crowded later. Head there around 10:00 AM to beat the rush.

If you’re a fan of photo ops like I am, bring a good camera. The lighting in some exhibit areas is stunning, but I wish I had more time to explore those photo-worthy spots!
Zelve Open Air Museum

I think wearing comfy shoes is a must, because you'll be doing a lot of walking on uneven terrain. Trust me, your feet will thank you later!

I recomend getting there around 9 AM to beat the crowds and enjoy the peace while exploring. The early light is also perfect for photos!

Don’t rush it! Take your time and wander through the caves and pathways. I wished I had spent more time soaking in the views instead of just snapping quick pics.
