Gulhane Park

If you're visiting during the weekend, try to avoid it from 12 pm to 3 pm. It can get super busy, and you might not enjoy the tranquility as much.

I recommend visiting Gulhane Park in the morning around 9 am. It's less crowded, and you can enjoy the peace and quiet. Plus, the sunlight hitting the trees is super lovely!

Don't rush through it! Take your time to explore different corners of the park - there are sometimes hidden spots that offer beautiful views and photo ops!

Make sure to wear comfortable shoes. The pathways are lovely but can get a bit uneven - I wish I had left my flip-flops at home!
Inkaya Historical Plane Tree

If you can, go in the late afternoon around 4 PM. The light is awesome for photos, and it's less crowded. I was there mid-afternoon, and it felt a bit rushed with all the visitors.
Uludag National Park

Try to take the cable car in the morning, around 9 AM. There's less crowd, and you'll have the best chance to enjoy the views with fewer people around. Trust me, it's totally worth it.

I suggest checking the weather before you go. It can change quickly up there! When I visited, I wasn’t prepared for the chilly winds and missed out on some views. Bring layers just in case!
Yildiz Park
Look out for the cute little kiosks selling affordable snacks and fresh juices inside the park. It’s a nice way to treat yourself without breaking the bank.

If you love nature, spend some time sitting by the pond and just soaking in the atmosphere. It’s really peaceful and a lovely way to recharge during your visit.

If you love taking photos, head to the park around 8 AM when the light is perfect and the crowds are minimal. Trust me, the tranquility is worth waking up early for!

I recommend downloading a map of the park on your phone before you go. There are many paths and it’s easy to wander around and lose track of where the highlights are.
Saitabat Waterfall

I think it's worth exploring the little trails around the waterfall. I almost missed them, but they lead to some stunning views. Just don’t stray too far off the main paths.
Bring some snacks and water with you! The area has a few restaurants, but they can be a bit overpriced for what you get. I learned the hard way by spending too much on mediocre food.

i suggest visiting on weekdays if you can. the weekend crowd can be pretty overwhelming, and you'd miss the tranquility of the falls. i went on a wednesday and it was so peaceful!

I recommend wearing comfortable shoes! The paths can be a bit rocky and slippery. I had to be super careful, and a good pair of shoes would have made it way easier
Uludag Mountain
Istanbul Aquarium

You might want to bring some snacks. The food inside is decent but a bit pricey. I regretted not packing a few treats!

I found that getting a combo ticket that includes other attractions in the area saved me some money. Definitely worth it if you plan to explore more!

I recommend taking the time to read all the info signs. They have some really interesting facts, and I learned way more than I thought I would!

If you're planning to visit, I suggest going on a weekday, preferably around 10 AM to avoid crowds. It was so much calmer then!
Bursa Zoo

I think you should explore the less popular areas first. The main attractions can get crowded fast, and you’ll miss out on some cool animals if you don’t!
Keep an eye out for the shadowy spots to take breaks. The sun can get pretty intense, and resting in the shade really helped us stay energized.

Bring a comfortable pair of shoes! The zoo is bigger than I expected, and you'll do a lot of walking. I regretted wearing flip-flops halfway through my visit!

I recommend visiting early in the morning around 9 AM. The animals are more active and you get to avoid the crowds. Trust me, it's way more enjoyable!
Edirne City Forest
Kureklidere Falls

Don't forget to pack a picnic! There are some nice spots to chill by the falls... I spent less on food this way and enjoyed my meal with a view... Plus, it's more relaxing!
