Kleopatra Beach
I think bringing your own beach towel can save you money. Renting one can cost around 10 lira, and they’re not always clean.
If you plan to rent gear for water sports, do it early in the day. The equipment often runs out by the afternoon, especially on weekends.
For a budget-friendly day, pack your own drinks and snacks. There are plenty of spots to relax and you won’t be stuck paying over the top prices at the beach stalls
I suggest finding a spot early in the morning, around 8 am, to snag a good sunbed. By noon, it gets really crowded and you might end up sitting way back behind the umbrellas.
Lara Public Beach
Don’t forget your beach shoes. The sand can be scorchingly hot during midday. It's no fun to hop around trying to find cooler spots. I learned that the hard way.
I think it's a good idea to check the weather beforehand. I went on a cloudy day expecting sun, and it wasn't as enjoyable. Overcast days might not be what you hoped for!
My advice is to go early, around 8 AM. The beach gets super crowded later on, and you'll have a better spot and a more relaxing experience in the morning sun.
Konyaalti Beach
I suggest grabbing some snacks from local shops before hitting the beach; prices at kiosks can be a bit steep! Plus, having your own goodies is a nice touch.
Do yourself a favor and arrive by 8 AM. You’ll snag a perfect spot with fewer crowds and the sunrise views are gorgeous!
Bring water shoes! The pebbly beach can be tough on bare feet, and trust me, they make walking around way more comfy.
Lara Beach
If you’re planning to rent a sunbed, consider going for a beach club that's a bit off the main strip. They often have better prices and more space. I learned that the hard way.
Try to catch the sunset around 6:30 PM – it’s absolutely stunning, and way less crowded than during the day. Perfect for some memorable photos!
Fethiye Sahil
If you want the best sunbeds, get there by 9 AM. I thought I could stroll in later, but by 10, all the good spots were taken and I had to settle for a less comfy area
Sarisu Ladies Beach
Bring your own beach umbrella or sunshade if you can. The sun can be intense, and renting an umbrella costs extra. I wished I had mine during my visit!
Oludeniz Beach
If you're looking to do some paragliding, book it online in advance. I missed out because I didn't book ahead, and the wait lists were super long!
Sarisu Kadinlar Plaji
Arrive by 10 AM to snag a nice sunbed before it gets crowded. Trust me, later in the day, it's harder to find a good spot!
If you're looking for a peaceful vibe, skip weekends and go on a weekday. The beach can get pretty lively with locals and families on Saturday and Sunday!
Beach Antalya Life Park
Check the tides before you go. I didn't realize the water can get really shallow at low tide, which made swimming less enjoyable. Better to go around mid-tide for a good swim.
Try to rent a sunbed earlier in the day. The best ones get snapped up quickly, and you don’t want to end up on the pebbles, trust me!
Antalya Konyaaltı Plaj
I recommend checking out local food stalls. I found a hidden gem that had delicious kebabs for super cheap—better than the overpriced cafes nearby!
