Ndere Cultural Center

If you’re looking for a good spot to sit, aim for the front row. My friends and I got placed a bit far back, and it made it hard to see the dancers up close.

I suggest bringing some cash in Ugandan Shillings if you want to buy souvenirs or snacks. They don't always accept cards, and the ATM on-site was a bit slow
Definitely catch the evening show; it starts around 7 PM! I arrived a bit later and missed some great performances. The energy picks up so much as the night goes on!
St Mary's Cathedral Rubaga
Uganda National Mosque
The Munyonyo Martyrs' Shrine
Kabaka's Palace
Uganda Museum

My advice is to bring some cash for the local crafts in the gift shop. I found some cool stuff, but the card machine was down during my visit, so I missed out on a few treasures!

I suggest getting there by 9 AM to beat the crowd. The museum opens up fresh and less busy so you can enjoy the exhibits without rushing. I noticed afternoons can get a bit hectic!
Uganda Martyrs Catholic Shrine Basilica
I think bringing a local snack or some water can save you money, as the options nearby can be a bit pricey for what you get. Plus, you can enjoy your snack in the lovely gardens

Make sure to wear comfy shoes! There’s a lot of walking around the shrine and I learned the hard way with my flip-flops hurting after a while.
