Grand Canyon Scenic Airlines
Make sure to book your flight in advance, especially during peak season. I got lucky, but I overheard others who missed out because they waited too long.
Sonora Wings Hang Gliding
Make sure to bring snacks and drinks. The wait between booking and your flight can get long, and you'll appreciate having something on hand to munch on.
Skydive The Grand Canyon
I suggest booking your jump well in advance, especially during peak season. I almost missed out because they were fully booked when I arrived. Save yourself the stress.
My advice is to wear comfy clothes and closed-toe shoes. I wore flip-flops and regretted it when I realized I had to take them off before the jump.
You'd want to check out the video upgrade options before your jump. I didn't, and honestly, seeing that footage afterward would have been worth the extra cash
I think bringing a camera is a must! You can get some great shots, but check if they allow it beforehand, I saw some people missing out because they didn’t ask.
Maverick Helicopters
My advice is to wear a hat and sunglasses. The sun can be intense up there, and with the helicopter's open doors, you'll want to protect your skin and eyes.
Red Rock Balloons
If you can, go on a weekday. We went on a Saturday, and it was super crowded. The crew said weekdays are way more chill and you might get to fly longer!
Northern Light Balloon Expeditions
Definitely wear layers! The weather can be chilly in the morning, but once you’re up in the air, it can get surprisingly warm, especially with the burner going. I froze at first, then ended up sweating later.
