Cathedral Rock Trail

I suggest starting your hike early like around 7 AM. The morning light is gorgeous and it helps you avoid the crowds and heat. Trust me it makes a huge difference!

I recommend checking the weather before you go... It got cloudy for me and the views were not as stunning... A clear day is worth planning for!

I think wearing sturdy shoes is a must! I wore sneakers and slipped a lot on the rocky parts. A good pair of hiking boots will save you from a faceplant!
Devils Bridge

Watch out for some steep parts on the trail. I found it a bit harder than I expected, so wear good hiking shoes – your feet will thank you later!

I suggest checking the weather before you go. It rained on me and the rocks got super slippery. It ruined my fun a little, but lesson learned!

look for some free parking spots on the side of the road, instead of paying at the main lot. it saved me a few bucks and it wasn’t too far of a walk!
South Rim Trail
Look out for the free park shuttle, especially during peak times. I didn't use it and ended up walking farther than I needed to!

My advice is to grab a map from the visitor center; it's super handy. I got lost a couple of times because I relied too much on my phone.

If you plan to grab lunch at the park, bring your own snacks! I spent way too much on food in the cafeteria and it was just average.

I suggest starting your hike early, like around 7 AM, to avoid the crowds and catch the sunrise. It's totally worth it!
Rim Trail

I think using the free shuttle system is a game-changer. Parking can be a hassle and it saves you time - plus, it's eco-friendly.

bring plenty of water! i thought i could make it on one bottle, and i totally regretted it halfway through. trust me, you'll need it!

I suggest hitting the trail early, around 7 AM... The sunrise views are breathtaking and way less crowded than later in the day
