Grand Canyon Visitor Center

I suggest hitting the lookout points in the early afternoon when the light is best for photos. The south rim is stunning then!

If you want to avoid the crowds, try the less popular trails like the Rim Trail. I found some breathtaking views without the hassle of mobs of people.

Pack your own snacks. The food options are limited and pricey. I brought granola bars and saved cash for a nice dinner later.

Bring a reusable water bottle. There are refill stations everywhere, and it’s a great way to stay hydrated and save money on bottled water
Musical Instrument Museum

Check out the gift shop at the end! They have unique instrument-themed items that are perfect for souvenirs without breaking the bank.

Try to visit on a weekday if you can. It was so much quieter and I really enjoyed the exhibits without the crowds.

If you're short on time, focus on the highlights like the 'Instruments from Around the World' gallery. Trust me, it’s packed with cool stuff!
Get the audio guide! It really enhances the experience and gives you more info about the instruments. I thought it was worth the extra few bucks.
Pima Air & Space Museum

If you can, buy your tickets online before visiting! I saved a bit by doing that, and it made entry way faster. Plus, keep an eye out for special events; I heard they have some awesome discounts sometimes!

Make sure to bring a refillable water bottle. They have water stations around, and trust me, you’re gonna need it with all that walking and the Arizona heat

I recommend checking out the tram tour; it's a cool way to see a lot of the museum quickly, especially if you’re short on time... The guides are super knowledgeable too, I loved it!

I suggest getting there right when they open at 9 AM. It can get super hot later, and the earlier you go, the fewer crowds you'll have. Plus, you can take your time exploring the planes without feeling rushed.
Goldfield Ghost Town

Make sure to grab a map at the entrance. It really helped us navigate and not miss the cool spots, plus it gives you an idea of the history behind the place.

I suggest checking for any special events ahead of time. We stumbled upon a cool gunfight reenactment that was a blast and included in the entry price.

Bring some cash! While most places take cards, some little shops and food vendors might not. Plus, tipping the performers is appreciated too.

If you’re into pictures go around 3 PM. The lighting is perfect for photos and the golden hour glow makes the old buildings look incredible.
London Bridge

I think it's best to avoid the main boardwalk area during peak hours... It's kinda hard to get a good pic of the bridge because of all the tourist traps around

I really recommend checking out the ice cream parlor nearby. I had a scoop there and it was a perfect treat after walking across the bridge. It's a cool spot to relax!
Children’s Museum of Phoenix

Pack a small snack or two because the café can get busy and pricey. We saved some cash by bringing our own snacks and had a little picnic in the quiet area.
Heard Museum

Definitely take advantage of the free guided tours. They added so much context to the artwork, and it’s included in the ticket price. Couldn't believe I almost missed it.

I recommend getting there right when it opens at 10 AM. It was super quiet then, and I could really enjoy the exhibits without the crowd getting in the way.

Wear comfy shoes! I didn’t think I’d walk so much, but those exhibits are spread out. A bit of planning could've saved my feet from aching so much.

if you’re planning to eat at the cafe my advice is to check the menu online first. i found that they had some cool affordable options but i wish i’d seen it beforehand!
Montezuma Castle State Reserve

Check out the tiny visitor center; they have cool artifacts and helpful staff. I wish I’d spent more time there before heading out to the main site.

Don’t forget your camera; the views are stunning. I took over a hundred photos, so even if you're not a pro, you'll want to capture these moments

I suggest wearing comfortable shoes! The path isn’t too long, but you'll appreciate a good pair for exploring the area without sore feet.

Plan to spend at least 1.5 to 2 hours here. I thought I’d just zip through, but there’s so much to learn and see, which was a pleasant surprise!
Titan Missile Museum

If you're on a budget, consider packing snacks. The café options are limited and a bit overpriced.

I recommend taking a guided tour rather than just walking around. The guides share fascinating insider stories that really bring the history to life!

Check the schedule for the special demonstrations before your visit. I missed one, and it sounded really cool!
Hermit's Rest

I think visiting around 4 PM is perfect. The lighting is amazing for pictures, and you'll avoid most of the midday crowds, which makes it way more enjoyable.
