Ozark National Forest

My experience with the trails was awesome but they can be confusing. I recommend grabbing a physical map at the visitor center. Completed the loop trail in half the time I would’ve without it!

I think it's a good idea to bring some snacks for the road. The small nearby towns can be pricey for food so packing some granola bars could save you some cash.
Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf

I think you might wanna wear comfy shoes and stay hydrated. The course is fun but you'll be walking and standing a lot, and trust me, it adds up!

I recommend playing the course early in the morning around 10 AM. The lighting is great for photos and it’s cooler outside, so you won’t get too hot.
My advice is to bring your own drinks. They have some snacks and drinks for sale, but the prices are a bit steep, and it’s nice to save some cash.
Magic Springs Theme and Water Park

My advice is to grab a meal at the park early, like around 11 AM. Lines get really long for food during lunch time - I waited forever!

Always bring water shoes if you plan on enjoying the water park area; the cement can get really hot in the summer. I made the mistake of going barefoot last time!
Cosmic Cavern

Plan for about 2-3 hours minimum. You don’t want to rush through this beautiful cave, and there's so much to see that you’ll want to take your time.

I recommend wearing good shoes—non-slip ones are a must! Some parts can be slippery and uneven, so you want to make sure you’re stable
Bud Walton Arena

Check out the seating chart online before you go. I found that some areas have limited views, and sitting on the lower level was totally worth it for the atmosphere.

If you're looking to save some cash, grab a bite to eat at nearby food trucks or cafes instead of inside the arena. Prices are way higher for snacks inside!
