Venice Beach Skatepark

Check out the schedule for skate events or contests before you go. I stumbled upon a competition that made my visit way more exciting!

Be mindful of the weather! On my visit, it was sunny, but the heat caught me off guard. Sunscreen and a hat are must-haves, trust me!

Bring your own water and snacks. The local vendors can be pricey, and it's easy to get thirsty running around those ramps!

Plan for some downtime... I suggest soaking in the lively atmosphere; there are plenty of cool shops and street performers around the park, making it a great place to chill
Lake Cunningham Regional Skate Park
I think it’s a good idea to check out the snack bar. They have some decent options, but prices can vary. Grab something before heading out to save a few bucks.

i recommend visiting during the weekdays if you can. the crowds are way lighter, and you can get in more runs without waiting around.

If you're looking for a chill vibe, aim for late afternoon, around 4 PM. The lighting is perfect for photos, and the skaters tend to be super friendly as the day winds down.
Vans Off Wall Scatepark

I recommend filling up on snacks before you arrive. The food options can be pricey and not the healthiest, so grab some energy bars or sandwiches to bring along!
Etnies Skate Park

My advice is to bring your own snacks and water. The concession prices can be a bit steep and there aren't a ton of nearby options for food.
West LA Courthouse Skate Plaza
My advice is to bring a packed lunch or snacks. There aren’t many food options nearby, and you don’t wanna waste time searching for a place when you could be shredding.

I suggest hitting up the plaza early around 8 AM. It gets super crowded later in the day and you'll have way more space to skate and chill. Plus, the morning vibe is just awesome!
Moorpark Skatepark

I suggest bringing your own water and snacks to Moorpark Skatepark as the nearby options are limited and can be pricey. You’ll save some cash and stay energized for skating.

I recommend checking out the skate shop in town before you go. They have great deals on gear, and it’s nice to support local businesses while getting set up for the day
