Dodger Stadium

If you want to save money, bring your own food and snacks. Security was cool with it, and it saved me a bunch compared to stadium prices.

I suggest arriving at least an hour before the game to soak in the atmosphere and avoid the crowds. This way you can grab some snacks and take some cool photos with the stadium in the background.

I recommend using public transport if you can. Parking was a nightmare and super overpriced—took way longer than expected to get out after the game!
Definitely explore the different food options. I found some hidden gems like the taquitos at one of the stands. Don't just stick to the typical hot dogs!
Pebble Beach Golf Links

If you're looking to save some cash, consider grabbing a bite at the Pebble Beach Market instead of the fancy restaurants on site. Trust me, the sandwiches are delicious and you’ll get to enjoy the views too!
I suggest checking out the 17-Mile Drive, it's stunning and free. I spent a hour driving around and the views were incredible, way better than sitting in traffic trying to get to it later!

My advice is to bring layers. The weather can be really unpredictable, and I found myself wishing I had a jacket on the chilly windy spots. You never know when you’ll need it!

I highly recommend booking your tee time well in advance, especially during peak season. I tried to walk in, and it didn’t work out too well for me!
Staples Center

If you're planning to snack, grab food outside before the event. The prices inside are crazy – I paid $15 for a soda!

Check the event schedule in advance! I thought I was seeing a game but ended up at a concert by mistake. Whoops!

Arrive at least 90 minutes early to soak up the vibe and grab merch. I was stuck in traffic and missed half the warmup which was a bummer.

If you're sitting up high, bring binoculars or use your phone to zoom in on the action. It really helped me get a better view!
Torrey Pines Golf Courses

My advice is to bring your own snacks and drinks. The prices at the clubhouse can be pretty steep, so save some cash and enjoy a picnic on the course instead.

I recommend checking the wind conditions before you play. It can get super windy, especially on the back nine, so adjust your game accordingly!

I think taking a few minutes to explore the surrounding nature trails is worth it. They're stunning and give you a nice break between rounds. Plus, no extra cost!
Hard Times Billiards

Plan some downtime between games. I spent a little too much time obsessing over my score and missed out on enjoying the atmosphere.

Bring some cash! The bar has some great drinks, and while they accept cards, it’s quicker and avoids any extra fees.

Check out their specials for drinks and food during the week. I stumbled on Taco Tuesday, and the deals were amazing. I saved a ton.
Oracle Park

I suggest checking the Giants' schedule online ahead of your visit. Certain games draw larger crowds, and you might want to avoid the busy days!

Try to use public transportation if you can. The Muni and BART systems drop you close to the park, which saves you from parking headaches and fees.

My advice is to explore the surrounding area before or after the game. The views of the bay and the city skyline are stunning, and it’s a great way to soak in the atmosphere.

Bring a light jacket even in summer! The wind off the bay can get chilly, especially later in the game
Angel Stadium of Anaheim

I think sitting in the outfield is a good shout. It’s usually cheaper and you still get a great view of the action. Plus, you can try to catch a foul ball!

If you’re bringing the kids, take advantage of the kids' area before the game. They have fun stuff to do, but it gets crowded fast, so go early.

I suggest looking for discounted tickets online. I found some great deals a day before the game on a resale site, so it's worth checking out!

Parking can be a pain, so I recommend arriving by 5 PM if there's a night game. The earlier, the better to avoid the traffic mess!
Oracle Arena
Make sure to wear layers! The temperature inside can change during the game, and I froze a bit because I wasn't prepared. Bring a light jacket just in case.

If you want to save some cash, try to eat outside the arena. There are some great food trucks just a short walk away that are way better and cheaper than arena food.

I think you should download the arena's app before going. It gives live updates about the game, and you can even order food from your seat to avoid long lines
Tony's Darts Away
I recommend checking out their happy hour from 4-6 PM. You can snag some good deals on drinks and snacks, plus it’s a chill time to play darts without too much crowd

I think it's smart to download their menu before you go. That way, you won’t waste time deciding what to eat when you get there and you can even figure out the best deals beforehand.
Petco Park

If you're looking to save some bucks, buy your tickets in advance online. I scored a great deal and avoided the long lines at the ticket booth.

I suggest finding a seat in the outfield. The views are awesome, and the tickets are usually cheaper. Plus, you might catch a home run ball.

I think it's smart to arrive around 5PM if you're going on a game night. The atmosphere is buzzing, and you can grab a drink before the game starts
