San Francisco Badlands
SF-Eagle
My advice is to check if there are any special events or themed nights during your visit. I found out they host drag shows sometimes, which are a blast!
I recommend getting there around 10 PM if you wanna avoid the long lines. It gets packed later, and trust me, nobody likes waiting!
I think bringing cash is a good move. Some bars had odd card policies, and I ended up paying a little more because of that. Just keep some green on hand for tips too!
If you’re feeling peckish, pop by the food truck outside. Their tacos were surprisingly good and a perfect late-night snack! I would’ve skipped grabbing food at a sit-down place before going in.
La Cita Bar
If you’re feeling adventurous, try their tacos – they’re super tasty and won’t break the bank. Just be warned, they can get a little messy.
My advice is to check out happy hour from 6 to 8 PM; you can snag some great drink deals and save a few bucks while starting the night off right.
DNA Lounge
I recommend checking their event calendar ahead of time. Sometimes they have special guest DJs that really make the experience worth it. I got lucky, but I know some nights can be a bit dull.
Avalon Hollywood
I think if you can, buy tickets online in advance. I got lucky finding a good deal but saw others paying way more at the door! Better safe than sorry!
I really enjoyed the vibe, but the bathroom lines were a bit long. My advice is to use the restroom right when you arrive! You’ll save yourself some time later!
Rage
I think you'd enjoy the drinks more if you skip the regular cocktails. The specialty ones are amazing and worth the few extra bucks.
Power Exchange
I think it’s worth checking their social media for any special deals or events. I saved a bit on the cover charge by going on a themed night!
The Echo
I think the drinks can be a bit pricey inside, so maybe grab a couple of pre-gamed drinks nearby before heading in. You'll save some cash for when you're ready to dance!
I recommend getting there around 9 PM on a weekday. It’s less crowded, and you can snag a good spot near the stage without elbowing through a sea of people. Trust me, it'll make your night a whole lot better!
The Valencia Room
I recommend getting to The Valencia Room before 9 PM if you want to avoid long lines at the door. Trust me, it gets packed quickly and you'll want to maximize your dance time!
Mezzanine
I think you'll save some cash by ordering drinks at the bar instead of bottle service. The cocktails were solid and way more affordable than I thought!
I suggest getting there around 10 PM if you want to avoid a long line. It gets super crowded after that! Plus, the atmosphere before things ramp up is really chill.
