I recommend wearing good shoes! The terrain can be a bit uneven, and flip-flops just won't cut it if you want to explore.

Don't forget to charge your phone! The colors and art are so vibrant you'll want to take tons of photos. A dead phone ruined my pictures!

If you plan on hiking, I highly recommend downloading a trails app. I got lost once because I thought I could just wing it. A little prep went a long way.

My advice is to bring layers! The weather changes fast up there; I was freezing in the morning and sweating by noon. I'm definetly going to pack better next time.
