I suggest visiting early in the morning, around 8 AM. It's quieter then, and you can enjoy the monument without too many people around.

I suggest checking out the grounds around the monument too. The views are increible and you'll find some great spots to sit and relax for a bit after you climb up.

My advice is to wear comfy shoes! The marble is a bit slippery, and there's a lot of ground to cover if you plan to explore the Reflecting Pool and other nearby attractions.

I suggest checking the weather ahead of time. I went on a rainy day, and it totally dampened the experience. Bring an umbrella or a light jacket!

Wear comfy shoes! You'll be walking a lot more than you think, and I regretted my choice of footwear halfway through the visit. Trust me on this!

Don’t forget to take the stairs to the Main Reading Room. The view is breathtaking! I almost missed it because I was focused on the elevators.

My advice is to wear comfy shoes! The Pentagon is huge and you’ll be doing a lot of walking. I wish I had worn sneakers instead of my cute sandals

If you want to save some bucks, grab lunch at the nearby Pentagon City Mall instead. The food courts have great options at affordable prices, way better than what’s offered on-site.
