Ormsby's
Don't hesitate to ask the bartenders for recommendations. I tried a drink I wouldn't have normally picked, and it ended up being my favorite!
Truist Park
I suggest arriving at least two hours before the game to explore The Battery Atlanta. It’s got great restaurants and shops, plus you can soak in the vibe before the game starts.
My advice is to check out the food options beforehand. The BBQ stand was amazing, but the lines can be long. Getting food during the seventh inning stretch is a good strategy to avoid the rush.
I suggest checking the Braves' schedule for promotional nights. We caught a fireworks show after the game which was a fun bonus to my visit
Sparkles Family Fun Center
Check out their promo days. On Sundays, they have special rates for families that can help save cash. Worth exploring ahead of time.
Mr Cues II Billiards
Check out their happy hour specials! I saved a good amount on drinks, which made the experience even more fun. My advice is to order before 7 PM.
I recommend visiting on a weekday afternoon. It gets super crowded on weekends and I found it way easier to grab a table and enjoy a game without feeling rushed.
Lookout Mountain Hang Gliding
I recommend booking your hang gliding session mid-week if possible. It’s way less crowded, and you can spend more time enjoying the experience without feeling rushed
Six Flags Over Georgia
I think it's worth it to invest in the Flash Pass if you're a thrill-seeker. The time saved on rides is totally worth the extra dosh, especially on busy weekends.
I suggest getting to the park right when it opens at 10 AM. You'll avoid the huge lines for rides and can hit the popular ones like Goliath before it gets crowded.
If you're planning on watching the shows, grab a map when you enter the park. I almost missed a great show just because I didn't know the schedule and found out too late.
My advice is to check out the meal deals online before your visit. It can save you some cash and you'll have tasty options on hand without breaking the bank.
State Farm Arena
If you're thinking about parking I'd go for the lots nearby but make sure to arrive at least 1.5 hours before the game. It can get really hectic and you’ll save yourself some stress.
Grab your food outside before entering. The arena food is super pricey, and I spent way too much on snacks that weren't even that good.
Six Flags White Water
Get to the park right when it opens at 10 AM. Lines are way shorter, and you can hit the big rides without the wait.
Bring your own snacks and drinks if you can! The food inside is decent but pricey. Having some munchies saved me money.
The Club at Savannah Harbor
I recommend checking the weather before you go! It can really affect your golf game and overall experience so plan accordingly. The day I visited was sunny but super windy which made it tough for my swing.
Road Atlanta
I think the grandstands can get super crowded during peak events, so snag a seat early in the morning or you might be stuck standing all day. It can get tiring!
I recommend getting there around 8 AM if you can. The early birds get the best parking spots, and you'll avoid the long lines! Plus, you'll catch all the prep action before the races start.
My advice is to bring your own snacks and drinks. The food prices are a bit steep, and you can enjoy a picnic vibe while watching the races. Just make sure to check their rules about outside food.
