Big Dog Billiards

If you're not super experienced at billiards, don't hesitate to ask staff for tips. They're really friendly and can help you get the hang of things!

My advice is to grab a drink at the bar before starting your games. They have a good selection and it makes for a fun vibe!
Wells Fargo Arena

I recommend arriving at least an hour early if you want to snag good parking nearby. The lot fills up fast, and you don't want to be stuck wandering around looking for a spot

I think sitting in the upper levels gives you the best view of the action and tickets are often cheaper there. Don't count out the cheap seats—they're still super fun!

My advice is to grab some food before the event. The concession prices were a bit steep, and the lines were loooong. Try a local restaurant nearby instead!

If you're into merch, hit the souvenir shop during halftime. I made the mistake of going before the game and ended up in a huge line after!
Carver–Hawkeye Arena

I recommend sitting anywhere in the lower bowl for great views, but if you’re on a budget, the upper deck still gives you a solid perspective without breaking the bank.
Check out the merchandise shop before the game to avoid jersey meltdowns! I got mine after the game, and the size I wanted was already gone. Total bummer!
Hilton Coliseum

I think exploring the nearby campus area is worth it! There are some cool spots for pictures and pre-game activities. I didn’t realize how much fun it would be to wander around.

I suggest checking the event schedule online before you go, so you can plan your visit around the games that interest you most. You're gonna want to book tickets in advance, especially for popular matches!
