Kart Kountry

I suggest hitting the snack bar after the karting. The nachos were surprisingly good and helped us refuel for more racing. Just make sure to bring cash!

I recommend visiting on a weekday, especially Tuesday or Wednesday. The lines were way shorter, and we got to race more! Weekend crowds can be a bit crazy.

I think you should bring a change of clothes. The kids had a blast, but wow, they got so dirty! Plus, cool down if it's hot out

My advice is to book the karting packages online before you go. They had some sweet discounts that I missed out on, and I regret it!
Mammoth Cave National Park

I suggest booking your cave tour in advance, especially on weekends. I had to wait an hour extra 'cause they were sold out for the tour I wanted.

My advice is to wear good walking shoes! The trails can be uneven, and I regretted my choice of flip flops halfway through the cave.

I recommend bringing a water bottle and snacks. There are not many places to grab a bite inside the park, and I was starving after the tour.
David Armstrong Extreme Park
My advice is to bring your own gear if you can. Rentals can add up, and it’s definitely nicer to use your own stuff. Plus, you’ll be way more comfortable.

I recommend checking the park’s schedule before going, since they sometimes have events that can make the place super crowded. I ended up missing some cool tricks because I couldn’t get close enough!

I suggest hitting the park around 3 PM when the afternoon crowd starts to thin out. I had a blast with more space to skate around and practice my moves
if you’re like me and love capturing moments, don’t forget to bring a portable charger for your phone! i killed my battery trying to record everything and missed some awesome rides!
Wildcat Offroad Park

Bring snacks and drinks! The on-site food options can be pricey and limited. I think packing some goodies will keep you fueled without breaking the bank.

I recommend arriving right when they open at 9 AM to avoid the crowds and get a full day of riding. Trust me, it makes a huge difference!
KFC Yum! Center

My advice is to bring a small bag and save on locker fees. I managed to fit snacks and a water bottle in mine. It helped me save some cash!

I think sitting in the upper levels can give you a fantastic view and save some bucks. The atmosphere was still electric from up there, plus tickets are often cheaper.

I suggest arriving around 5:30 PM for a 7 PM game. You’ll find parking easier and can stroll around the area without feeling rushed.

Check out the merchandise before the game. I waited until halftime, and a bunch of stuff was already sold out. I recommend getting your gear early!
Rupp Arena

My advice is to check websites for last-minute ticket deals before you go. I found one that saved me a good chunk of change on a great seat!

I recommend getting snacks inside the arena—they’re pricey, but I found the nachos were def worth it, crispy and cheesy. Forget the vending machines outside, they're way overpriced!

I think it’s a good idea to explore the surrounding area before heading in. There are some cool bars and restaurants just a few blocks away where you can grab a bite and beat the crowd.
