I think it’s worth it to bring snacks or a cooler; food vendors can be pricey and the quality isn't always that great. We packed sandwiches and enjoyed a beach picnic!

Check the local tide times before you go; low tide means wider beach and more space to set up without being right on top of other people.

My advice is to arrive by 9 AM... The beach gets crowded fast, and you want to grab a good spot before the rush

If you're into jogging or biking, I suggest hitting the paths early in the morning around 7 AM. The fresh air is lovely and the park is quiet.

Okay, so I totally underestimated how hot it gets. Bring sunscreen and a water bottle; the Sun can be relentless, even in early fall!

I recommend visiting the park on a weekday; it was way less crowded and I could really enjoy the tranquil vibes. Weekends can be nutty!

Check out the Carousel Gardens Amusement Park if you’re with kids. They had a blast, and I think it was worth the entry fee. Just budget for snacks!

My advice is to wear comfortable shoes. You’ll be doing a fair amount of walking, and the floors can be slippery, especially near the tanks.

If you're on a budget, I suggest keeping an eye out for special deals. Sometimes they have discounts for certain times or group bookings that can save you some cash.

Take your time in the freshwater exhibit. I almost skipped it, thinking it wouldn't be as interesting, but I ended up spending a great deal of time there. It's really captivating!

I recommend taking a stroll down the path toward the Congo Square area. It's a beautiful part of the park and often has live music on weekends. Just be prepared for a crowd.

One thing I learned is to bring your own snacks. There aren't many food options inside the park, and the ones nearby can be pricey. Pack a picnic for a nice break!

I recommend checking out the local artists' market on Saturdays; it's a great way to support local creators and grab unique souvenirs without breaking the bank. Plus, the vibe is super friendly!
