The Spirit of Detroit
The Heidelberg Project

If you wanna save some cash, try scoping out nearby street vendors for snacks instead of heading to fancy restaurants. The local food will have more charm and flavor. It worked for me!

I recommend visiting on a weekday afternoon, like Tuesday around 2 PM. It's way less crowded then, and you can really soak in the art and vibe without feeling rushed. I went on Saturday and it was packed!

I suggest bringing a camera! The art is super vibrant and photogenic so you’ll want to capture those moments. Plus you might want to snap some shots without crowds. I wish I had done that!
Giant Cow Head

Bring some snacks and drinks with you. The area doesn't have many options nearby, and I ended up wandering around looking for something to munch on after exploring, which wasted some time. Save your dough for the attractions instead.
Giant Fist of Joe Louis

Check out the surrounding area before heading to the fist; there's some cool street art and local shops that make for a nice stroll. It's an easy way to add to your day.

Parking can be a pain and pricey near the fist. My advice is to use a nearby parking garage or take a rideshare service to save time and hassle!
