Empire State Building

I think it’s worth it to splurge on the express pass if you can; it's a time-saver. I saved nearly an hour, which I used for exploring the area.
Don’t forget to check out the exhibits on the 2nd floor while you wait for the elevator. They give you some cool insights into the building's history.

My advice is to visit around sunset. The views are absolutely magical and you'll get both day and nighttime city vibes in one go.

If you go on a weekday instead of the weekend, it’ll likely be less crowded. I went on a Tuesday and it was a totally different experience compared to the weekend.
United Skates of America Roller Skating Center

I recommend checking their social media for any promo days or discounts; we ended up saving a few bucks by going on a themed night!

My advice is to bring your own skates if you can. The rentals are okay, but having your own is way more comfortable and they usually charge a fee for rentals.
One World Trade Center

I think visiting during the weekdays is way better if you can swing it. The weekends were packed, making it harder to enjoy the view.

My advice is to really take your time at the observatory level. There’s so much to see and photograph, including the city skyline!

I suggest booking your tickets online ahead of time to skip the long lines. I went on a busy Saturday and regretted not doing that
Sky Zone Trampoline Park

Try to hit the park around 3 PM on a weekday. I noticed less crowds and more trampoline time for everyone! Weekend mornings are packed!

My advice is to keep an eye on the schedule for dodgeball and foam pit events. They fill up fast, and I missed out on my faves because I didn’t check in advance.

I recommend wearing comfy clothes and socks, but not the thick ones. I slipped a bit while jumping because my fuzzy socks were just too fluffy!

You might wanna check out the 'jump all day' pass if you plan to stay longer. It’s a better deal than the hourly rate, trust me!
Jamaica Bay Riding Academy

I suggest taking the early morning rides around 9 AM. The horses are energetic, and it's less crowded, giving you a more personalized experience.

Check the weather beforehand; it can change quickly. I got caught in a little drizzle and it kind of dampened the experience. Dress in layers!
RollerJam USA

I think you should bring your own skates if you have them. The rentals are okay, but my friend had a better experience with his own. Plus, it can save you some time in line!

If you're looking to save a few bucks look for local deals or discounts online before you go. I found a coupon that helped cut down on our costs which was great!
Chrysler Building

My advice is to bring a good camera. The Chrysler Building is a photo lover's dream, especially around sunset when the lighting gives it this amazing glow.

If you wanna have fun, try and find a good spot to view the building from the street. There's this little park across the street that’s perfect for selfies!

I suggest visiting around 10 AM to avoid the big crowds. It really makes a difference in enjoying the view without feeling rushed. Plus, the morning light is perfect for pics!
Les Coleman Skatepark

Bring a water bottle! There's not a ton of shade, and you'll want to stay hydrated while shredding. I didn't, and I regretted it during my long skate sessions.
BBA Bubbleball

I suggest checking for weekday discounts if you can swing it. We saved a bit by going on a Wednesday instead of the weekend – way less crowded too!

If you want to avoid long lines, arrive right around 3 PM. We went at 2 and it was super busy, but 3 PM had a nice chill vibe.
Pier 2 Roller Rink

I think grabbing a snack at the nearby food trucks can save you some cash; the rink's food prices are a bit steep! Plus, the street food is delicious!

My advice is to wear comfortable socks and maybe bring your own skates if you have them. Rental skates took a bit longer than expected, and I could've saved time.
