Games Places Map
Games in New York:
Madison Square Garden
If you’re looking for a great view, try to sit higher up. I had seats on the lower level once and could hardly see the full action. The upper tiers have a better overall perspective
My advice is to check out the food options in advance. Some stands can get super crowded, and you might end up spending more if you don’t plan. I found the pretzels and pizza worth every penny!
Yankee Stadium
Public transport is the way to go! Take the subway to the stadium. It saves you from the parking hassle and traffic – I paid a fortune for parking last time. Plus, it’s a fun way to soak in the city's vibe!
Barclays Center
I suggest bringing a small portable charger. Using your phone for pics and directions drains battery life, and you might miss out on moments.
I recommend arriving around 5:30 PM for weeknight games. You'll beat the crowd and have a better chance to find cheaper parking near the arena.
Amsterdam Billiards Club
Brooklyn Bridge Park - Pier 6 - Beach Volleyball Courts
I recommend arriving around 9 AM to snag a good spot on the sand. It gets packed quickly, especially on weekends. Early birds definitely get the best courts!
Pro tip: wear sunscreen and a hat! The sun can be brutal, even if it seems cloudy. I got burned my first day because I underestimated the rays.
Frames Bowling Lounge
Try to arrive at around 5 PM for a good mix of crowds. It’s lively but not too packed, so you can enjoy the vibe without the crazy wait times.
Citi Field
Check out the food vendors on the upper level if you want to avoid long lines. I had the best hot dog up there, and it was way less crowded.
McHale's Bar & Grill
Vanderbilt Tennis Club
I suggest you get there around 10 AM when it's a bit quieter and you can snag a good spot for some great matches without the crowds. Mornings are just so peaceful!
